Dr Al-Harbi's research focuses on greenhouses, hydroponics and related subjects with 10 years' experience in academic administration. He is a member of the agricultural committees in Riyadh Chamber of Commerce for over 12 years. He has consulted for government and private companies in a new technology and innovation in protected cultivation. Dr Al-Harbi participated in establishment of agriculture information center in the Agricultural fund and Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development Center (ESTEDAMAH), which is a joint venture between ministry of EWA and King Saud University, financed by SABIC and located in Riyadh Technology Valley, King Saud University. He now works as a technical advisor at Estidamah in addition to his work in the University.
